Margaret Pierce, New England Regional Manager Scarborough Alliance, will be meeting with IBEW members interested in discussing financial planning and retirement. She will be in the office all day to meet with you, spouses welcome to join. Please call or email to let her know what time you would like to meet on Saturday. We will also schedule further dates and times based on demand.

As a way of background, Scarborough Alliance offers the IBEW Local Unions Savings and Security Plan to IBEW members. This is a qualified retirement plan (not an IRA), that accepts Verizon Pension lump sum and Fidelity 401(k) rollovers to invest and save during your retirement years. Scarborough Alliance acts in a fiduciary capacity for the exclusive benefit of members under this plan. Scarborough Alliance has been the fiduciary and advisor under the IBEW plan since 1979.

  • Scarborough Alliance has partnered with IBEW and local Unions since 1970.
  • Scarborough acts in a fiduciary capacity under the IBEW Local Unions Savings and Security Plan. This means that the IBEW Trustees oversee the investments and fees to ensure they are always in the members’ best interest.
  • Only IBEW members form qualified IBEW locals (such as 2321) are eligible to invest in this plan. Only Scarborough can offer this plan to members.
  • All fees and all investments with the plan are consistently monitored on a quarterly basis with the investment committee and IBEW Trustees.
